Dark Night and Starry Sky
In the days of my childhood, I used to visit a small town in my country where my father spent his early life. My uncle, my father’s brother, was still living there, and we used to visit him. Among many other things that I could never find anywhere, there were night skies.
A Strong Desire
Lately, night skies have started becoming a very recurrent subject of my conversations with my friend. We both showed a desire to see them, to experience them. One of the reasons for this was our trip to the north, which we were planning.
Astrophotography
I knew about the fact that capturing a night sky through a camera is possible but never thought actively about it. Being a media sciences graduate, I should have at least thought of doing it.
But, it wasn’t until I bought a Google Pixel phone. For those who don’t know, Google Camera has this wonderful feature of astrophotography; and it actually ignited the discussion of astrophotography between me and my friend.
Our Trip To North
Finally, we had a trip to the north, we traveled to Kalam, Swat. We were wishing to see the night sky there. But, we were so unlucky because of the night pollution.
But, we had another trip in the next month to Naran. We didn’t have any luck there until…
