We have spoken about the common health lies on social media before. This time we are going to view some of the more things and lies that are or becoming common nowadays. We will also be discussing things that are becoming trends.
Psychological facts are something that has become a trend nowadays. People on the internet want to explore the psychological facts which can help them in mastering the art of daily lives. But as it is clear and understandable that whenever we have excess information we are vulnerable to the wrong and fake news and information. It is even sometimes hard to identify fake and real information. We will be seeing common types of psychological lies that usually circulate on social media.

Women’s Psychology

It is hard to know someone completely. Even understanding and knowing someone is really hard in its own. And to know others is close to impossible in this way. Many people either they are single or committed want to know about women's psychology. Both types have some real reasons to go for these types of facts. Although, it is true that there are a lot of psychological differences in both genders. Many of the facts that we hear about the topic are true but, many are absolutely absurd and fake.
The majority of this problem has been created on the internet by people promoting the alpha male type content. They usually put women in a measured and limited box in which their every gesture is pre-studied. They give this vibe of knowing everything about women. And they want to give an explanation of every single action of a woman. Mostly, these explanations are not true and are mere personal ideas about the actions of a woman to comfort themselves.
The thing that we need to understand is that like males, females' psychology also varies from person to person. Every individual has their own desires, wants, fears, beliefs and ideologies on the basis of which they act. Every person is different from the other. We should never through ourselves in the overgeneralization of things. Rather we should be more concerned about understanding the person as an individual rather than as a gender, cast, or breed.

Personal Ideas

There is no problem with sharing your personal ideas or thoughts on the internet. Anyone has the right to say and share whatever they want to. But the problem arises once someone starts trying to explain their personal ideas with the support of science.
Science is something that is solely based on the search for truth. People share their personal ideas and support them, with the words like “psychology says”. We should also be aware of this type because we are not going to get to the truth if we keep believing these things.

Unnecessary Generalizations

One of the major criticism of Aristotle is that he generalizes everything this is something that could be count as his flaw.
The people on the internet giving psychological facts do the same mistake. They generalize everything, they generalize genders and people based on some specific qualities. Besides this, they do not even have the proper logical grounds.

For example; people who laugh a lot are lonely people.

This type of unnecessary generalization can also lead to misinformation.
